Energy Innovation Co-operative's mission is "working together towards a zero emissions community". It is establishing community owned renewable energy generation, runs activities & events & newsletters, and its Southern CORE Fund supports community groups wanting to put solar PV, solar HW or energy efficiency measures onto buildings they run. It operates mainly within South Gippsland and Bass Coast Shires, but has members beyond, and has no geographic limitations in its rules. From Nov 2017 it can offer tax deductibility for any donations towards its work.

Totally Renewable Tenby is an environmental action group in a small town on the Bass Coast, with big ideas – our goal is to become totally renewable by 2030.

We are working on community energy systems, energy efficiency in homes and businesses, emissions free transport, land regeneration, healthy waterways, and food and waste management.

We want to see small regional Victorian towns like Tenby Point continue to thrive, even in a climate changing world.

TRT welcomes anyone interested to join the TRT mailing list or Working Group.

The Bass Coast Community Gardens Network was setup in partnership with the Bass Coast Healthy Communities initiative, with the recognition that getting community garden and local food projects off the ground and maintaining them is hard work and takes allot of time, energy, effort and resources. So the Network is creating an opportunity for these projects to share resources, knowledge, and skills and most importantly to learn from each project experiences. This will be achieved through the publication of a bi-monthly newsletter emailed out to all network members, regular updates on this site, access to a drop box full of resources, a bi-monthly meeting, and potential training and skills sharing opportunities.
