Living Lightly - Compost & Household Jobs Workshop
In this practical workshop, we’ll explore the basics of successful home composting — what to add, what to avoid, how to get the balance right and what to do when your compost isn’t quite behaving as expected.
We’ll also look at a range of useful seasonal household and garden jobs, with ideas for making the most of what you already have, reducing waste and preparing your home and garden for the months ahead.
Along the way, we’ll explore practical ways to reuse common household and garden materials, make better use of organic waste and turn everyday jobs into manageable sustainable habits.
Whether you’re new to composting, trying to improve an existing system or simply looking for achievable ways to reduce waste around your home and garden, you’ll leave with plenty of ideas you can put into practice.
This workshop is part of the Living Lightly series, delivered by Harriet Pellizzer in partnership with Bass Coast Shire Council.
Registration is essential so we can keep in contact if there are any changes and ensure adequate materials for participants.
