Bass Coast Shire Council is delighted to announce a new collaboration between Council, our local community gardens, and Bass Coast Adult Learning (BCAL), that will promote the environmental and social benefits of productive gardening.
Starting later this year, a series of workshops will be delivered at community gardens across the Shire to help build skills and knowledge about gardening, composting, biodiversity, and much more!
Workshops will be delivered by qualified facilitators from Bass Coast Adult Learning (BCAL). BCAL is a
Wonthaggi-based registered training organisation, providing education
and training to people in Bass Coast. BCAL delivers a range of programs, including courses on horticulture and sustainability. BCAL also
host the annual Bass Coast Edible Gardens Weekend.
Locations, dates, and times will be published on this page soon. Register below and we'll let you know when the workshop dates are published.
