Farm Walk - Monitoring Your Farm Dam Emissions

Bass Coast Landcare Network are working with farmers to monitor the health of farm dams. The program provides landowners with easy to install floating sensors that monitor in real time emissions such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. This event will commence with a presentation from Blue Carbon Lab followed by an interactive farm walk on a local Bass farm.

Farm dams are essential to our thriving farms. They are more than just water reservoirs. Beyond providing reliable supplies of good-quality water, your dam can be a biodiversity hotspot and help reduce your carbon footprint, while unlocking financial opportunities. Come along to hear about this exciting program and how you might be able to get involved.

Biosecurity measures will be in place on the day. Please ensure your vehicles and footwear are clean prior to this farm walk.
